A celebration party on the Valley Floor!

Please join us rain or shine!

Sunday, July 27, 2008 • 4pm – 7pm on the Valley Floor just off Boomerang Road.

We will leave the Courthouse at 3:30pm and begin walk together along the river trail to the picnic site. Music, good company, walkabouts and a few surprises will add to a special afternoon of community sharing.

Bring your favorite potluck dish to share, your picnic gear and a blanket to sit on. Beverages will be provided. Potluck dishes may be dropped off at the courthouse for transport to the picnic site at 3:15pm.

There is no on-site parking for vehicles and dogs must be left at home.

Please call Stephanie at the Town at 728-2169 to volunteer.

A few tips:

• Please label your dish with your name and phone number and be prepared to take it with you. We will provide transportation for those who cannot, but we cannot store dishes.
• Please try to help us be a low impact event by bringing our own picnic gear. We will provide biodegradable utensils, cups and plates for those who don’t.
• Be prepared for weather and bugs!
• Feel free to bring hula hoops, kites, frisbees etc.
• Remember there will be no parking at the site.
• There will be recycling, trash and compost at the event.

PLEASE NOTE THE FIRST OF SEVERAL VALLEY FLOOR WORKSESSIONS WILL TAKE PLACE ON JULY 24TH IN REBEKAH HALL WITH ECOLOGICAL RESOURCE CONSULTANTS, THE TEAM CONDUCTING THE ENVIRONMENTAL EVALUATION OF THE VALLEY FLOOR.

JULY 24TH

• 4 - 6 PM AN INFORMAL WALK-IN SESSION
• 6 - 8 PM PUBLIC MEETING WITH A PRESENTATION
